About MyPSA(SA)

MyPSA(SA) is the official body for all Malaysian postgraduate students that is currently doing or had finished their postgraduate studies at any of the universities in South Australia.

MyPSA(SA) is recognised by the Education Malaysia Australia Sydney (EMAS), formerly known as Malaysian Students Department Australia (MSDA); and is registered with the Office of Consumer and Business Affairs (OCBA), South Australia as a not‐for‐profit organisation with Incorporation No. 40625.

MyPSA(SA) is also open to the spouses and family members accompanying postgraduate students to South Australia and welcomes too Malaysian citizens working or permanently residing in South Australia to join and contribute to the association.

The aims and objectives of MyPSA(SA) are:

  1. To look after the welfare of Malaysian citizens who are sponsored postgraduate students registered with any institute of higher learning in South Australia, their accompanying family members, any other Malaysians doing any form of postgraduate studies or training in South Australia, and Malaysians who are currently being employed in South Australia with the purpose of facilitating their arrival, stay and departure during their period of study, training or employment.
  2. To establish linkage with the Malaysian Students Department Australia, the High Commission of Malaysia in Australia, any other official Malaysian government agencies and other Malaysian Postgraduate Associations in Australia or elsewhere in the world with the objective of disseminating important and relevant information concerning the Association, its members and Malaysia in general.
  3. To be the official platform for the exchange of ideas and information between its members with each other, institutes of higher learning in Australia and Malaysia and official organisations representing other groups of Malaysians in South Australia. Accordingly, the Association and its members will also strive to act as mini ambassadors of Malaysia to the people of South Australia.
